Adrian Dubow and Laura Koffsky, two dear friends launched Good Work Miami, LLC. combining the passion, experience, and dedication of two community leaders who are entrenched in volunteer work in the South Florida. The vision for this initiative has always been to connect people to the “good work” that is done by non-profit organizations in the Miami community and beyond. Making sure volunteers and professionals feel engaged and appreciated is critical. "Connecting people to purpose" is more than a tagline, it's a goal. Good Work Miami is a resource for individuals, organizations, and philanthropists. Emphasis is on collaboration and developing leadership to advance the effectiveness of the organization, and connecting people to opportunities for advocacy, engagement, and purpose. Over the years the mission has evolved to include organizational coaching, mission clarity and charge, board development, governance structure, ongoing work with leadership development, fundraising strategies and emphasis on mentoring and inspiring the next generation of community leaders to do “good work” and give back.
Adrian Dubow has been an active professional and volunteer in the Greater Miami Community for the past 30 years. Adrian Dubow has been an active professional and volunteer in the Greater Miami Community for the past 30 years. Her passion and professionalism have guided her dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. She is a Past President of Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest, FL. She serves on the board of directors of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, South Dade Board. Adrian is a founding member of Sharsheret, South Miami and serves as an outreach ambassador and peer supporter. She is a mentor with the Women of Tomorrow, Mentor and Scholarship Program. Adrian has held leadership roles with the Children’s Bereavement Center, Miami Cancer Institute, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Catholic Hospice and Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona and a certified Life Coach. Adrian and her husband, Ken, live in Miami and they have two grown children, Rachel and Brian.
Laura Koffsky is an active member of the Miami community. She serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and the Women’s Amutot Initiative, empowering women to improve Israeli society through social, economic, religious, and political equality. She serves on the Board of Directors of Breakthrough Miami and is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Jewish Committee of Miami and Broward. Laura is passionate about building a collaborative community and inspiring future leadership. She is a graduate of Indiana University and is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program. She and her husband Dan live in Miami, and they have three grown children, and one grandchild..
